Take A Walk Back-In Time! Tucked away in the heart of Marathon lids this historic 63-acre tropical oasis of hardwood trees.  2.5 miles of beautiful nature trails, and a Museum of Natural History.  Initially, the site of an Indian Village. The reserve also contains evidence of a Pre-Columbian civilization where a Bahamian immigrant family set up a homestead in the early twentieth century.  One trail takes you by the Marathon Wild Bird Center, a hospital for injured pelicans, cormorants, egrets, and other Keys birds.
